Do you read a newspaper every day ?
I never read a newspaper well, very rarely, but I would like to know what the main news is every day. What would be the best feed to get if I wanted to get the headlines for each day?
I think we should know what is happening in the world today after all if we don't know what is going on how on earth could we think about making things better?
Thanks alot Denise

I don't really think I need to know everything on the news. I usually watch the news from Mondays to Fridays because of the work reason, during the weekends, I don't really care. Most of the news are not really happy news and sometimes I would read and get upset. I don't think I would want that during the weekends.

I have to agree there isen't very much in the news that makes us happy is there?
How sad that is. I wonder if there has been just one day gone by throughout time when there wasn't a murder, one day that someone did not get killed. What do you think?

Yes, absolutely. And it would be the most happiest news on earth if we don't have "news" at all for one single day.

I don't buy a newspaper . The only time I read one is if I find one on London Transport. Do you buy a newspaper every day?

I try to read a newspaper every day, simply because I like knowing what's going on. My college apartment gets free copies of all different sorts of newspapers each day, so I get a copy of the ones that I want to read and read them and let others do the same, and once I'm finished they get recycled. I think if you just wanted to find out some of the bigger, important stuff, you could check out cnn.com or yahoo news, or msn or something.

no, i dont . i dont' read a newspaper everyday, and i dont think i should know what is going.
i spend too much time online everyday, and there are lots of pop-ups about the new things in every aspect in my country. sometimes i will see my interested news, but i often shut them down directly without a glance.
besides, i dont' care about politics, and i think newspaper contains too many news about politics.

I wrote you one response and blow me down it disappeared. I was saying tht I admire you for being honest about not wanting to read the news I think there are lots of people that feel as you but would never admit it. I do like someone who has the guts to be who they are in public.
I have invited you as a friend I would like to get to know you a little better.
Denise
Thanks for the response.

I don't like the newspaper. Though newspapers do tell you the news, they tell you from their perspective which is not always the right perspective or your view. I do not agree with this myself and i want to know Real news.
However, I also don't watch the news. Mostly I read news articles on the internet, from various sources so as to get all sides of the story.

We seem to be very much alike us internet users. We all spend so much time on the computer that we don't get time to do much else.
Do you think that is a good thing or a bad thing?
That would be a good discussion don't you think?

It probably would be. For me, it's just a choice. That I don't personally like the views and opinions of the reporters in my local papers which is why I choose to read them online.
But I bet a lot of people read it online just because it's online!

I dont read the newspaper everyday.
I buy a weekly newspaper. I keep myself updated but on a weekly basis.
online newspaper is a way to get updated daily.
while logging on with mylot, you could read online news.
indeed it is nice to be updated with the world.
information is vital for decision making.

I am going to put an alert out for the days headlines and see what I get back. As I do not read or buy newspapers I thik it could be a good way of receiving what I may need to know!

Yes I agree with you but I rarely buy a newspaper so what do you think is the best way of getting the days news via the computer.
Thanks Denise
