I agree with you, Balasari. Yes smell has the power of transporting me to the past. But I am happy today because of your one word there, you wrote "girlfriend"..ha..ha..ha....So it remind me for one smell like 'crunched guava leaf' really transport me to my past for my elementary school. Because my first school, where that school's compound planted with many guava plants for perimeter fencing.

When I smell Chanel No.5 it reminds me of my mum as it was her favourite perfume. She still has it on her dressing table but rarely wears it. When I smell sandalwood, it reminds me of India, and I yearn to go on holiday there to see my lovely relatives. Can't think of any other smells that remind me of anything right now :)

Yes i do have similar experiences.There is a favourite chinese restuarant which we frequent it has a dingy and stuffy smell but maybe i have become used to it as i associate it with the lovely food they serve.
