Are you dressing up for halloween this year? What are you going to be? If you have kids, what are they going to be this year? What is the best costume you have ever seen? We don't dress up anymore, but our kids will. I have no idea what they are going to be this year. Last year they were both carebears.

My kids want to be the kids from Scooby-doo. My oldest wants to be Shaggy, Sydney wants to be Daphne, and Maggie wants to be Velma. That leaves Daddy and I drawing straws for Fred and Scooby! I DON'T think I'll get the van painted in time, however, for the night. LOL!
They should be really easy, as we have a lot of the outfits these kids wear (at least a close facsimile!) I even went to wikpedia and printed off a few pics so we can get close to the details. :)
One of my favorite costume ideas is actually an adult costume. All it is, a leaf tied to a string, taped to the bill of a baseball cap. The wearer of the cap puffs every once in a while, at the leaf. Can you guess what he is???
A LEAFBLOWER!! That just kills me! (I know, strange sense of humor!!)

Ways of the world. Can you not see? Do you not see what you are doing? You are teaching your kinds the ways of babylon. This is the exact reason why the seven letters to the church talks so much about lawlessness. Halloween is a witches holiday. WWJD?

I will only dress up for my job and I will try to keep my costume all day. I work in a place a little bit like Home depot called Reno-depot. I decided that I will will dress as an wal-mart employee. I worked there and I still have my badge and everything. I really don't know what my boss will say, but I really want to try that :)

My daughter (now 15 months) has decided she wants to be Tigger as she picked out the costume herself. My hubby and I aren't sure what we are going to be for Hallowe'en IF we decide to take her trick or treating. We live in Canada so the weather will be a MAJOR factor!

There are a lot of sites that can give you ideas for halloween costumes. There are even sites that offer instructions on how to make home-made costumes. Try about.com.

Halloween is for Pagans. I am not a Pagan therefore I do not celebrate with my children.

Exactly my point. the catholic church has done a good job incorporating all pagan holidays into their religion. Christianity was founded by Paul not Jesus. Paul taught quite contrary to Jesus and has brainwashed the church. He is the reason the roman Catholic church is around. this is the church that not only molests little boys but also killed people for reading the book or if they claimed to know God. The relity is the catholic church is a sect of witched and the proof is the witches wheel that is on the ground of the st peters square. The pope also face an obelysk any time he addresses the poeple there. Did you know that is the phalys of Osiris? That is right. There is alot of rich history and what you linked is just a glimpse of the truth. Why does the catholic church get to create all holidays. Didn't God himself establish the Sabath? Oh yeah they changes that day to for Sol (Also know as Rah or Nimrod) the Sun God, hence Sun Day. The truth is the truth and I could post a million websites but it would be easier for you to make sure you are being completely honest with yourself and your children by doing in depth research and not just pick what you like to justify it. That is typical and i only epect from "typical christians".

jahjah, this was meant to be a lighthearted discussion about costumes. if you don't celebrate then you didn't need to answer this discussion and attack the people who did.

exactly, to suggest that it is light hearted would mean it does not waeigh heavy on the heart. In other words heartless talk about nothing.
