Are you having too much workload now? Are you excited about this or stressed? How will you deal with the stress? I am having quite some workload in this peak season. In fact, I am handling some 20 customers for five different regions around the world. I've got more than 100 emails and dozens of phone calls every day. And still need to take care of some issues for my bosses and my subordinates. As a global accoung managment engineer, customers would escalate the schedules and other critical issues with us... Well, quite some of my colleagues decided to leave the company since they find it too much pressure here and workload is huge. The turnover is extremely high. I really don't know how to balance the work and life either sometimes. Do you have some good suggestions? Or do you have some difficulty in common? Wbr,Andy

Yes, I feel stressed from my work because I have to spend lots of time traning my students for different kinds of English speech contests every year and I also have to spend much time in my teaching job to prepare my lessons. Once I feel stressed, I think that it is a burden to me and I won't feel happy. The only way I escape from work pressure is to forget it by connecting with my friends online to help me forget my worry and anxiety and the pressure from work. I hope that you are doing well from your work and spend more time here with mylot friends to relieve your stress from work like I do. Thanks and good night.

No one can do beyond one's capacity and whatever we do if it is not organized work, then frustration creeps in. There is no rule that one has to take all the workloads on his back and keep working hours after hours. So, to handle a busy schedule, prepare a time chart for yourself. 1. Time for your regular work 2. Time for attending to overseas customers 3. Time for attending to the subordinates 4. Keep some leverage for attending to your bosses because they cannot fit into your time. Ensure that during working hours, you do not waste time for any reason. Still if the works are not attended to, then it has to be carried forward. If y ou are organized, y ou can perform with greater efficiency and coverage is wider.

The only advice I can give you is to prioritze your work. Can you prepare a things to do list? I use the Microsft Outlook at work to limit my self and schedule work. If something takes longer than usual then you can always set it for another day or doen couple hours. You need to make a list of all you have to do and if you have a SEcretary allow her to do this. Give her permission to go through and see what you have to do and make a list including deadlines past and future. When you have a few moments go through the list and lable them by what is urgent, outstanding and so on. If you work with a list like this you will be organised and better able to accomplish more. Every boss I have I use this tactic and it works and I keep them uptodate on what was not completed on the day before and ask where to palce it on the list. You could also leave pinters to the SEcretary if you have one on what you needs to be done on each file. HE/she will be a big help trust me on this. I hope this helps

When overload is due to bad management, the only solution is to leave. I have had bosses who had the most ridiculous ideas and the worst was that they implemented them in practice. The ideas were about things that were next to impossible but the boss insisted that results were not achieved because we don't work hard enough. He tried to squeeze us out for some time but after people began leaving in batches, he gave up some of his ridiculous ideas.

I can handle any amount of pressure in my work.. but the thing is it takes time for me to get in to the grove.. i simply will not follow the other Man's step..simply because it has been accepted.. I plan things according to my convenience and fix the priority..and more importantly i see that it is finished on time, and i expect near perfection in the job assigned.. It is only under this criteria, i often get in arguements with my higher ups, i dont like to sacrifice QUALITY for the sake of QUANTITY.

FIRST AND FOREMOST don't leave the company or place where you work right now, Andy. Unless you're unpaid. I like you touched the words 'pressure' and 'workload'. Human is not perfect Andy, but nature always give lesson. See carefully to your toe...look down now to your feet. How many of it , Andy? OK 10. Right and thank you. Same thing I learned from nature, previously. I don't want to give you explanation here, Andy. As a process of nature-nurture-learning is the most effective learning system to humankind. You OBSERVE not LOOK, how your feet's bone support the "body load"(work load) and "pressure", at the same time simultaneously taking action for balancing and alignment. Please don't agree for my says but make think!!!!
