Does anyone feel sorry for Britney?

I kinda feel bad. When I started watching the show the other night I immediately said to my husband oh my God she is going to get slammed for this performance it is like career suicide! First yes she has two babies and a better body then me but that outfit did nothing for her, it made her look wide, a different outfit would have made her look awesome. Her advisors whoever they are or whatever friends should have told her that she wasn't prepared for this. With all the bad press she has gotten everyone knew this performance would be under a magnifying glass. This performance was painful to watch! I just feel that she needs help, she is young and has got herself on such a downward spiral. My gut feeling is she is depressed and using any outlet she can to just forget about everything. I really hope some friend has what it takes to get through to her. Rose

Thanks for your response. I think alot of talented people ruin their careers with their behavior. I guess it supports that phrase too much of a good thing. I would love to see these young people be more responsible for their behaviors especially if they have a young following but sometimes I think the parents of these young people are a little to blame too!

I didn't see her performance since she's not my favorite. She does have a great body but we all know that doesn't make her a better Mom. I don't feel a bit sorry for her. Maybe if she stayed out of trouble for awhile and focused on her children, she wouldn't be slammed constantly!

Call me cold-hearted but I feel no sympathy for her whatsoever. She got fabulously wealthy even though she has very little talent other than having a decent body and she has made a habit of making very bad decisions. She has enough money to quit now and relax for life. If she does that the paparazzi will leave her alone pretty quickly.

I know, I know funny thing is I never liked her. You are not cold hearted I go back and forth. Its just that that performance was so painful to watch. And with the custody thing I just think Kevin is out for the money so I guess that is when I started feeling bad for her. She was truly in love with the jerk. But you know you are right if she has enough money if she really cares about her boys she shouldn't be out there trying to restart her career she should be doing everything she can to be a good mom.
