What are some of the best home remedies you have heard of and do they actually work? Examples: How to treat an infected tattoo (put plastic wrap on it so that bandages do not hold the infection directly on the new tattoo.) How to get rid of flies without chemical sprays (put cidar vinegar and drop or two of dishsoap in a jar, cover with plastice wrap, put holes in plastice wrap and the flies get in there but can't get out, They are attracted by the sweet smell of the cidar vinegar) Tea Tree Oil heals cuts and also kills mold and mildew in the bathroom. A few drops in your shampoo can also help prevent head lice infestation.

I have asthma and with no health insurance or extra cash, I rarely get an inhaler. I eat canned peaches to help my symptoms. Obviously, they don't work for an actual attack, but if you are slightly tight in the chest, have a tad of congestion ... have some peaches. They ease the symptoms.

Hello! My grandmother use to do home remedies all the time! The best on i think is good but stinky!!If you have a sore throat or infection.Put some yellow mustard powder& water in a small bowl, mix and heat up a towel big enough to fit around your neck.Heat it up in the oven a tiny bit.Spread the mixture on the towel and wrap it around your kneck fixing with a safety pin.Worked for us!Remember not to put too much mustard powder because it burns the skin some, only a little bit!!:)
