I worked at a credit union and was at my station when our boss came down from his office and told us a plane had crashed into the WTC. He let each of us come up and watch a bit of television. He gave us updates as the day progressed. Needless to say we were not very cheerful and playful as we usually were having mindless chatter about the sun or our child's dance class. As each member came in to do their banking the discussion was the same slumber of did you see the horror on the telelvision. And do you know anyone that works there. I think the people are cowards for dieing in the crash and hiding in the hills taking the credit. I am so very proud of those on the plane that crashed in the field (my father and mother in law are near that site now in on a tour of DC). Thankfully the only lives lost were those on the plane that day and not many more at the White House or other areas. I am not sure how I would feel if I knew someone that was in the towers or other areas. I do know friends who have been impacted. Co-workers of my husband went over to aide in cleaning up the WTC mess. They were there when the President came to look. They have been changed for life because of that incident. I know how I felt with the bridge crash as I have many family members that live in the Twin City area. So I am sure I would have felt similar.

My partner and i were just getting into bed as we are in Perth, Australia. We were just so shocked and deeply upset, i spent a lot of time in front of the tv getting up dates and listening to the radio. I dont think i have ever cried so much over a situation and people i dont know. My heart goes out to everyone who was affected by this. I think the ones involved will burn in the deepest bowels of hell, i can not imagine ever wanting to inflict such senceless pain onto inocent people. I have no idea as to what i would do if one of my family was in those towers, i think i would probably be in Iraq helping clean up.
