It sounds funny, but my Dog SNORES at night!

hello guyz, you know what's funny about my dog "jackie" she snores so loud at night! hehehe... She can instantly sleep even we are watching tv, she will just jump on your lap and sleep. She also sleeps with us in the bed, and in a few seconds you'll jst see her asleep and already snoring, even if you touch her and kiss her she won't mind, she will still continue sleeping, she even sleeps with a pillow on her head and a blanket. She is so cute! (you can view her pic here while she's sleeping) One time, when my husband and i was about to fall asleep, in a dark room, we just heard jackie snoring loud, and she sounds like a real person snoring.. we checked if it's really her, and we confirmed it was jackie who was sleeping in her doggie bed in our room who was snoring loud. I can't imagine a small cute dog "snores like that loud" we just laugh about it then went to sleep! hehehe... sometimes she dreams too! she will just growl or bark in her sleep. LOL:) Does your pet snores also? what will you do if your pet or dog snores at night? Do you find it cute or annoying? share with us if you have the same experience or story.

Lucky you! Have you tried breath right strips. I'm kidding. My kitty makes a sucking noise when she sleeps.

No, my doggie dosen't usually snore anytime.. But while he's sleeping, he sometimes makes unusual faces and seems to fight with someone in his dreams.. That indeed seems funny at times.. He also has a habit of keeping his tongue out while he's at sleep.. That's looks eally cute.. I take pictures of him while he's in one of these poses...

My dog snores too. The first time I ever heard her do it I was like what is that noise. So I looked at her and started laughing and said she is snoring like a human does. LOL It was cute.

my dog used to do the same thing...she used to bark and growl when she was sleeping, i guess she was having some good dreams??!!
i think a dog can get a lot of stuff that humans get including stuffy noses...maybe she is allergic to people??!! lol

I had two cocker spaniels but they've crossed the Rainbow Bridge now but they used to snore like crazy when they slept. They were little dreamers too and would act out their dreams with kicking and grunting. It was really funny to watch. We have two german shepherds now and when they're let in they snore too.

Yeah, and mine too. She releases gases and if u r in a room with closed doors, you should consider yourself lucky if you wake up the next day. :)
And mine they never wake up even if you shout in the room. When they fall asleep nothing can wake them up. And they snore just like better than human would. I sometimes wonder myself what will happen if someone brakes into out appartment?

you have cute dogs too linoxy, i think dogs that we have are smart specially the pure breeds like mine. They act like human and maybe sometimes they think they are really like us. hehehe, anyway, if someone breaks into your apartment just wake up your dog or i think they would know it for sure they will b alerted by the smell and noise. have a nice day!

It sounds really funny. I haven't heard a dog that snores. Anyways, I want to hear dog snores because for me it is very rare.

have you tried 'snore pillow' (http://snorepillow.com/html/SnorePillow.html) for your dog? it helps with reducing snoring.

Hi claire03! I think that is so cute. Our pet dogs don't snore and if they will, I am going to record it and video them. That is something funny and amusing that i can show to family and friends. And of course, that will never annoy me nor irritate me. Take care and have a nice day!

Well, this is funny. Some of my cats do snore also, and at times quit loudly too. I always check if they have gotten the cold or something as it could become dangerous for cats if not cured.

Hi sara, and yes, I have 6 cats at the moment. And have had dogs also, but not right now, as I wouldn't be able to walk them around several times daily ;)

I had a dog who could win an award for sleeping, no matter where or when if he wanted to sleep , that's it out like a light. The best part is when a dog dreams and he/she makes weird noises, kicks out it's leg , etc I could sit for hours watching that. Have fun. Keep snoring

My shepherd Nakita runs in her sleep and makes all kinds of funny noises. She scared me the first few times because I thought that someone was in the house and when I finally found her in the dark I started to laugh and she jumped up and looked at me weird. As if to say, what are you doing here? I just gave her a pat on the head and told her that everything was ok and to go back to sleep. She also makes whimpering noises, so she must be dreaming, not sure what though. I don't find it annoying, it actually reassures me that she's close by and I'm able to sleep then.

It is true when the dog is dreaming it is snoring like human. Sometime I can feel that my dog is also dreaming while sleeping.

My guys snore..but it is not a loud obnoxious snore..it is quiet and relaxing and it makes me smile...it is deep and calming.
I think I am lucky to have these guys...they sleep on the bed at night..but only for a while, when they have had time with their people, they do to their own beds. At least now that it is warm, in the winter, since it will be colder, I am sure they will stay on the bed longer.
The yellow lab has puppy dreams and his feet start going and wake me up..but I don't mind, if I ask him to get off of the bed, he does.

That is so cute and funny. I have a cat and I don't believe I've ever heard him snore. But my cat does something that most cats don't do. He fetches! He is so funny. You'd think he's a dog! lol.

my dog snores at night and even has dreams where he'll start wimpering and moving his feet like he is chasing after something its funny to watch but on nights he wakes us up with a howl (its happened twice) scares us out of our wits He is a black lab
