Why does the city slack on safety?

Can anyone shed some light on why the city seems to be sooo bootleg when it comes to safety. Granted most times you can stay safe by having common sense, but other times there needs to be a system in place to keep the folks safe. Such as today, I had jury duty and parked in the Court house parking lot. But yet someone had to seriously work on breaking my window and stealing my house keys as well as my gps navagator system. No i didn't really loose a fortune but i was greatly inconvienced. Loosing house keys is a bit expensive but i am glad enough to get home in time to make sure no one has entered it. So now in the process of changing locks and trying to get a window repaired on a rainy day is very fusterating. What a violation of my property and yet no one seems to even care. Its like its a regular thing that happens in life. My real gripe is that this courthouse has parking in a very suspcious area (under a over pass) and well its pretty dark there and well i seemed to park real close to the enterance and yet still no one saw anything. My fustration stems from me asking if there are cameras in the parking lot, which is a big fat NO! Its like the city has become a SLUM LORD! I cant say how many articles or heard news of something violent happenings at a couthouse. Do they not care if the workers get home safe or property is safe? Whho should i contact about this issue?

It also makes me wonder how these employees feel when they have to work in an unsafe neighborhood. Something should be done. The city always makes cuts and they cry poor. But yet our property taxes still soar. And it also makes me mad that when something happens no one helps out. Whatever happen to brotherhood? I swear it is all about the money and no one cares about each other.

Amen on that thought! It really makes me sick that people are really slacking on customer service. Its like that few moments when your with a client, patient or even customer, its like pay attention. Act like you care. GIve them some advice on what to do and where to go next. Be careful with information as well as the persons feelings. The selfishness is really killing people these days.
