Cupcakes!

A new cupcake place just opened in my town. I haven't been there yet, but hope to make a visit tonight. I'm not much of a cake person, but I love cupcakes.
They just seem more fun!
Do you like them? More than regular cake? What is your favorite?
It may sound boring, but I love vanilla.

Oh, I love cupcake places! I had never seen them before we moved to Washington, but there is one just a few blocks from where I work, and another one in the area where we go shopping. They have mini cupcakes and regular sized ones. I agree that they are just so much more fun than cake! :)
I like to get chocolate cupcakes, even though I try not to eat much chocolate. I figure the cupcakes, particularly the mini ones, don't have MUCH chocolate, so it's okay. :)

I had a vamilla one for the new cupcake place in my neighborhood the other night...and it was awesome! So rich though, I don't think I could eat more than one in a sitting!

funny as it may sound that my kids are not really 'cake' people either, so for their bdays i used to make cupcakes for their 'friends' parties and provide a couple of types of icing and m&ms, gummy worms, that sort of thing so they could decorate it the way they wanted...there was also a lot less wasted cake this way!
