I wrote about my friend's cat, Pixie. I wrote that she was blind at that time, and they weren't sure when she'd get her sight back. Well, good news, Pixie is home & she's regained most of her eyesight. So, that was my good news, I hope all of you have as good a news over the weekend!

I hope this won't offend you but "PRAISE GOD!!" Oh I'm soooo happy to hear about this!! That's so wonderful!! That's the kind of things I love to hear about. We hear so much about the bad in this world that it gets old. I know we need to know a lot of the bad so we can protect ourselves but darn, can't there be a happy medium? lol Thanks so much for sharing your story!

Doesn't offend me, won't offend Pixie's mom either. We're both Christians, just probably more open minded than some because we're in the science fiction community.

Glad to hear that. Saying that is an endearment or meaning a good thing but some do get offended. I am what I am and will live up to it but at the same time I'm not out to offend either. It's kind of like going around in circles, don't you think? lol

No, Pixie is about 14 years old. She's been diabetic for over 5 years and she was "crashing" with low blood sugar. She wasn't seeing for whatever reason because of the diabeties, but her sight returned rapidly after she recovered. Tho now, 4 months later, she is again declining - but she is really lived a long time with the diabeties. I know my friend will miss her Pixie, she's her first cat she's had since moving out on her own. She's putting off the inevitable as long as Pixie is getting around, and purring, I'd probably do the same thing.

Hi. Well somehow I must have missed your first discussion, but I am still delighted to hear your news. It's always great to hear good news first thing in the morning - especially when it's to do with cats! Thanks for cheering me up!

That is such good news. I was kind of afraid her eyesight was really gone.
