This story has been on the news and different television shows in my area for the past 3 years. I often wondered if this would be the outcome. The father kept giving the police some story about how the children were safe and no one would find them and so on. I don't understand how a parent can do this to their own children. If he was upset over the divorce or whatever, that is no reason to take it out on your own kids and to kill them and bury them where they wouldn't be found. I know we have been hearing all the bad stories, but this has to be of some relief to their mother. The not knowing if they were dead or alive had to be driving her slowly insane. I know it is not the best ending, but at least now she can have some closure. I feel for her and her whole family, and I hope the dad has to spend the rest of his life in jail in solitary confinement because he seems to like to be the center of attention. If he is in solitary, then he will not be the center of attention. I wish they could just hang him from the highest tree, but I don't see that happening.

i dont understand why they would only give him 38 years for now when they know full well he is the one who did it. this just ticks me off when the system hands down lesser charges for these sickos.. these were two beautiful children that were innocent in the whole thing but had to pay the price for a marriage gone bad.... i aree he should be hung. or maybe ki8lled the same way so he can feel the pain that those kids felt know there daddy was doing this to them i really hope that they did not have to suffer.. but this man should suffer and just going to prison is not going to do that for him.

I agree with you, I can't even imagine the thoughts that were going through those poor kids minds when their own father killed them. I don't understand how you could do this in the first place. He must be truly sick in the head. I have read some other articles about how he likes being popular in jail and that everyone likes him. I know they moved him to a different state because he kept being beat up in jail. Some of the most hardened criminals don't take kindly to people who hurt children and then they hurt those people in jail. Even that would be too good for him, i think. I wish that hanging was still legal, because if he is sitting in jail then it just costs the taxpayers money to keep him there, and he seems to enjoy it. Give him something that he wouldn't enjoy and make his life miserable for the remainder of his time here on earth. He doesn't seem to feel any remorse for what he did to his children and that is the saddest part of it all.

i didnt know they had moved him because he was getting beat up.... but ya know i wouldnt have moved him i would have let him stay right where he was he deserves every bit of getting his butt kicked. i also agree that us taxpayers pay for these inmates to have the luxuries they do have, which i also think is wrong why should these people who kill children (murder in general), rape, etc.etc. have all these privilegdes??? if you are doing hard time for a violent crime against anyone you should be put in solitary confinement or worse...especially when it comes to hurting children....

I know what you mean, people like this make me so sick to my stomach. I am not sure where I read that he had been moved to a different state, maybe I am wrong about that.

I agree, what would make a person take the lives of their own children? Sick, sick people I guess. I hope that things will be easier now with knowing what happened to the kids, rather than not knowing where they are and whether she would ever see them again. It has to be some sort of closure, but I am sure the grief would be horrible.
