Since we don't have any cook in our house, we help everyone in food preparation. We do have the rotation of whose cooking turn it is. We do practice the thing so called rotation of duties and division of labor in the household. But most of the times, I volunteer to cook. Since I do love to eat, I act as the family's cook most of the times. It is at times tiring, but oftentimes, it is enjoyable especially when they appreciate the food that I have prepared. It really pleases my heart knowing that the effort I have exerted is very worthy.

My husband and I share in the responsiblities...We each have our specialities. He is the Breakfast Chief...Can out do anyone when it comes to Omelletes or Eggs Benedict. Our 11 year son is now taking interest in the breakfast cooking, just today he got up with his father and helped with the scrambled eggs and sausage before church.
I do all the BIG Holiday Dinners. Those are special to me. I get our my grandmothers pie recipes and I like getting into the setting of a formal table for my family during the Holiday's.
With active children in sports... During the week, it's who ever gets home first starts dinner, or picks up dinner in some cases.

I used to all the cooking earlier. But now that I have a very young child and have to take care of school for the older one, I have a cook. My mother and mother-in-law cannot come to help me out. So, I have to depend on paid help (though I do not really like it).

My spouse is a very good cook and used to cook for me all the time before our child was born. Now he does not have that much time so he doesn't cook anymore. So, it's just up to me. Some days I am very good at home cooking and others not so much.
Although I don't have a cook, some days I will order take-out food from local restaurants and that eases the burden of cooking. However, a majority of time, I do all the cooking for my family. Or, at least I do when I can find the time.
Any spare time that I have is spent taking care of our daughter, working online and cleaning the house so that it looks good for my family. Often times I have wished for a professional cook in my home, perhaps someone to cook dinner or breakfast. But, our income would not allow such a thing. So, I do the best I can by myself.

My husband and I both do the cooking. I guess you could say we split the responsibility since I sometimes have a pretty hefty work load (I work at home in my home office) and can't get away long enough to cook something. I have him trained quite well :)

We do our own cooking. We could not afford a cook. I really love to cook and bake. What I would like is someone to do the dishes for me. My husband is a good cook also. He will cook on his days off from work. If we are both home we will often cook together.
