According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observation Newsletter, Booker T quits WWE after he was informed that he'll be suspended for 60 days after failing the drug test.
Sandman is another wrestler who is released by WWE. There had been no details on the release yet.

Booker wanted to quit for a couple of years and I guess this was the last straw (although it is his fault). I read that he was taking the 60 days to decide but I guess he decided. Sheesh, WWE is taking a big hit.
Sandman, well, they ruined him anyway moving him to Raw. Weird that they had him in a storyline Monday and ditched him Tuesday.
Flair is suspended as well and deciding which way to go. He isn't happy with his push or anything since he was moved to Smackdown. I think he should just manage and not wrestle. He did say he was still with WWE on a radio show the other day so he is negotiating a storyline or something he is happy with.
I wonder who's next? Orton should be going by the records and his past but I doubt they will let him go because they don't want TNA to get anyone young and with potential.
WWE is going to have to push the smaller guys and the lesser known ones now and I think that is a good thing. I don't know how they will explain all these suspensions and quittings/firings though.

K well Booker T I don't like one bit, and would actually like it if he has quit.
From what I heard Sandman has been released because of steroids,I will miss him, and so has eugene.
Unfortunately we have also lost cryme Tyme! but I am not sure why so far.
My god how many more superstars are we gonna lose?

Cryme Tyme acted up overseas and got in a fight with someone backstage. They walked out of their match and were fired and sent home (I forgot where they were).
I liked them!

Im not to surperised of the sandman being released from the wwe because they have mentioned for awhile that they want to fire him. But im surperised because he was getting a mid card push and vince liked him mainly because of his entrance which is why it surperised me a little. Booker T quitting dosnt bother me he was never a fav of mine but he might come back in 60 days he might have a change of heart.

I think losing all these great superstars is sad but ultimately cathartic.
Sure it will hurt now but in the long run WWE and sports entertainment will be better for it... I hope.

I'd be gutted if Booker T went too. That would be a huge loss. To be honest, Sandman was wasted on Raw and won' be much of a loss. Flair should really retire from wrestling but go in to management.
I guess it's time for WWE to push the younger guys. Back in the attitude era the WWE lost a lot of big names to WCW but they pushed the likes of Triple H and they became huge. Now it's time to give Shelton Benjamin, Carlito, Kennedy and even Kenny Dykstra the chance to make an impact. Otherwise WWE is in serious trouble.
