I suggest that you follow a balance diet. You should avoid eating foods that can cause high blood.
I suggest that you exercise regularly. Walking and jogging for at least 30 minutes is already enough for you to maintain good healthy lifestyle.
Have a nice day!

hello saisudhamani,
i would suggest you to drink pomegranate juice.i am sure it will help control your blood pressure.my mom had high bp and she drank this juice and withiin 2 days her blood pressure was normal.it will work instantly.
another remedy is mix 1/2 onion juice and 1/2 honey.take 2 tablespoons once a day for 1-2 weeks.you can also eat papaya on an empty stomach daily for a month.don't eat anything after eating papaya for about 2 hours.
i hope this helps you.i wish you your blood pressure comes to normal soon and all the best.

I am not sure whether you have heard of this plant or not. It is called 'petai' in our country. I am from Malaysia and here 'petai' can be found easily in the market. It is famous for its capability to prevent high blood pressure and also diabetes. Many people eat it as a daily intake and are healthy and free from high blood pressure or diabetes. Where are you from? If you are from India I think you can get 'petai' from you place too. If you don't know how it looks like, it is green in color. It is one type of fruit which looks like huge nuts when we peel off its skin. We don't eat the skin, we only eat the green nuts inside. We can eat it raw or cook with cili. Some people eat it by boiling it for a few minutes and later eat it with coconut shreds. Maybe you can try this. I am sorry I don't know what is its English name. Maybe if you ask around other people in mylot they would know the name. Good luck my friend. Have a nice day.

I am also hypertensive and i was taking medicine as my maintenance. But there are times that i am thinking of resorting to other alternatives other than these prescribed medicines. I remember the words of my grandfather using raw garlic as an alternative. And i tried using it during times of suffereing the pain in my neck as a sign of hypertension. And i found out that it really works. But i tried something to make it more modern by slicing the garlic into fine slice and frying it until it becomes crunchy. Then i take it everytime i feel my blood rushing up. There is no harm in trying. Why not try this one. Tis is some kind of home remedy i could give you. I hope i was able to give you some relief with your hypertension.

Well saisudhamani, I've had a couple of friends with high blood pressure and I know it can be a very debilitating illness, but it can be kept under control just by using some ingredients you might already have at home. Here are some tips below to keep it under control:
1. Finely grind 100grams of melon seeds and 100 grams of poppy seeds, mix and store in a clean dry container, then swallow i teaspoon every morning and evening with a glass of water.
2. You can also chew 1 clove of garlic every morning and then wash it down with some water. Garlic has many benefits to the body, including keeping the blood pressure under control.
3. Brew 30 curry leaves in 1 glass of water and drink first thing in the morning. You can add a dash of limejuice for taste.
4. Two times a day, mix 1 teaspoon of honey, 1 teaspoon of ginger juice and 1 teaspoon of cumin powder and consume.
Hope these tips help.

I just finished writing articles for one of my clients about high blood pressure.
You may want to check out information regarding the DASH diet. It is a well-balanced diet that uses fruits, vegetables, low-fat dairy, foods low in saturated fat, and low sodium.
I know it is hard to continue the medicines although depending on how severe your high blood pressure is, you may not want to go off of them. If your current meds are causing you problems, have you asked your doc about something that may not be as harsh? Sometimes it takes a few tries to get it right.
Now, mild-moderate high blood pressure may be able to go down with diet and exercise alone, but doing some sort of exercise that raises your heart rate and respiration is what is most effective. There have even been studies done on garlic. Minced garlic cloves everyday has shown results and so has the herb hawthorn.
Meditation is still controversial, but it is worth a try. Even drinking soy milk in place of regular milk has shown a 10-15 point drop in blood pressure in some research.
Anyway, I hope that has helped :) You may want to check out the DASH diet and www.dashdiet.com I think that's the URL.

Eat apricots often. They will help control blood pressure. Also try not to eat anything which has baking powder in it. It will increase your BP. Take care for high BP is dangerous.
