Yes, you read correctly. I was bad and cheated...on my best friend with a half package of Oreos. *Sigh* I've been on a diet and she has been right behind me feeding me Kashi pumkin seed flax bars (ewwwwwwww). I've even been trying to get my husband to eat yogurt because it is good for him, so I've been into the eating healthy thing. Well, I'm having a 'girl' moment and needed Oreos. I even made a special trip to the store to get them. Then you know what she says to me? "I've had one of those moments too since I started my diet, but there's Weight Watchers chocolate ice cream." Yeap. I got the "there's no excuse for this double stuff Oreo breakdown." WAAAAAH

O Awww honey - diets are so awful! I don't actually believe in them, I am a great believer in just eating sensibly but amongst that is the old ethos of a little of what you fancy does you good! If you deprive yourself you will only stuff yourself when your resolve breaks ( it always does!) Best to allow yourself little treats to stop yourself hankering after things! Tomorrow is a new day and the pack of oreos will be behind you then - don't beat yourself up honey! xxx

Please tell me how you managed to stop drinking the coke! I have been drinking it for years and when I don't have it i get really cranky and anxious, yep seems like I am addicted! I have been losing weight recently, which is surprising as I am not mobile and cannot exercise, my partner agrees that if I cut back or stopped the coke the weight would fall off of me! xxx

Oh, it has taken a heck of a lot of tries, but I had to stop this time since I found out that the high fructose corn syrup in the cola was hurting my bladder...big time. I ended up with trigonitis, which is doing much better now. That was the most horrifying thing I've been through to date because it took the docs a while to figure out why my bladder wasn't functioning properly.

Heh heh. I'm not beating myself up at all. I guess you could call it more of eating sensibly rather than a diet because I'm definitely not depriving myself of food :) I've lost weight by not drinking colas, and by eating more healthy stuff :)

I think this is actually great. I'm all for being healthy - active and eating healthy foods, but I think it's important that we treat ourselves every now and then - just as long as we keep up the exercise and don't go completely off the rails. =D I've never gone on a 'diet' but I've always eaten healthily and kept in shape, but I never stop myself from having the odd snack. You'll be right =D Mal.

Everybody knows that us women need chocolate to survive. Besides diets are doomed from the start. Just exercise a bit more. Run to the store, grab some Oreos and run back. The exercise will do take off the calories you got from eating them. Besides weren't they the Thin Pac? I know what you mean, I could not eat pumpkin seed, and seed flax bars? Does not sound very appetizing.

LOL. I wish they were the thin pack. :) But yes, we do need chocolate to survive. I have found some awesome Weight Watchers stuff with chocolate in it and that is really fixing my chocolate fits. I get the giant cookie bars which is almost like a frozen Oreo. LOL. I love them. Oh, and their Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Sundaes are mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. They're amazing :)Needless to say,I bought a new outfit yesterday because some friends and I are going to the comedy club tomorrow night and I bought pants 2 sizes smaller than usual :) YAY. It's working!

Don't let it get you down. Diets are doomed to failure. Just start again tomorrow. next time you feel you just have to have that treat, have it, knowing your body craved sugar for a reason, you didn't get enough nutrients that day. Next time just have 1 cookie and a glass of milk and see if that will tide you over until the craving goes away.

He he he. I do have to admit that those Oreos were awesome. I haven't had chocolate like that for a while :)
