I do breathing exercises. I cry or talk to someone. Sometimes I try to figure out what's going and why am I depressed. Then I try to deal with the situation. This is just from learning a new way to handle things.

Whatever you do its difficult to feel high in those blue days...but watching a comedy movie or going out with your best friends and speak to somebody who u feel is really close to you and can give the sincere advise....but till the time u will not decide yourself to be out of it you will never be.

well when i feel depressed there are lots of things that i do and lots of things tht i dont do.. like for examples i dont eat when im depressed, its just a thing i cant control, but thats a negative thing.. There are some things that i do that are postive that help me calm down and take my mind off what was making me depressed to begin with.. like i write in my journal ill write down why i feel depressed, what caused it and how to over come it, ill have myself a good cry.. crying cleansese the soul and it is a good relief after crying.. Ill scrapbook , scrapbooking is one of my faovrite hobbies and it will ease my mind and take my mind of my feeling depressedness.. ill put in a good tear jerker movie.. one that makes me cry so this way here i can still get in my crying time without feeling badly about it.. I go over to my mothers house.. we chat and watch movies.. Ill paint or play a game with my daughter... there are lots of things people can do when they feel depressed its just a matter of how depressed they are actualy feeling.. if feeling really depressed and you want to hurt yourself or someone else then you should talk to someone right away get someone to listen to you..

hmmm it depends on the depression and wether it is clinical.It is best to book an appointment to youe doctor to discuss it and the issues causing it.If it is clinical you may ned a combination and counselling,but if it cause by a recent emotional event,you may require counselling alone.
Honestly when im depressed before i just keep quiet and stay in the room.But now if i feel down i go out walk alone..and i can do talk to someone later on.
