have you ever met person knew in the net?

have you ever met a person knew in the net?if yes when you knew her/him your expectations was attended or you had surprises?if not,why?you don't trust at all to meet people knew in this way?

I meet some poeple in net whome i already know. one accation is meeting my school friend after 12years in orkut..it made me very happy to talk with him again..to whom i never think what he is doing from past 10years...this happend me in last month when i am doing some time pass in orkut comunities.

Funnily enough I have actually end up meeting two people from the net. One was from tribe. Nice guy and we seemed to get along when we met in the "Real" world. However, it turned out he was more keen to recruit me for his MLM business and that kind of put an end to the potential friendship. Also met a young lady on a social network/dating site. We have not become an "item" but we did become good friends who had regular meet ups.
