Virus from Paid to click website

Is it possible that our computer get infected by virus from those Paid to click website? My cousin has joined a few of these programs and she told me that her computer actually got infected by virus. Usually it would be some sort of Trojan Virus. Is this true?

Anti-virus software is definitely something that is essential if your PC is connected to the Net. I use AVG which is free and seem good enough to prevent any major infection in my PC.
McCafee is also good because it has a site adviser that will tell you if a site you are going to visit has potential virus or apam problems.

last time i got 3 trojan from boffomailpaid.. from that moment i never go to that website. i heard u can get virus while you surfing.
