it's quite tricky... i saw a shirt worth 97 but had no money to pay for it. i borrowed 50 from my mom and 50 from my dad for a total of 100. i bought the shirt and had 3 dollars for the change. i gave 1 to my mom and 1 to my dad and the other 1 was left to me. that made my debt 49 (50-1) to each of them. 49 + 49 = 98 plus the 1 dollar in me equals 99. WHERE'S THE 1 DOLLAR?

it is not at all it is simple 97 / 2 is not 48 but 48.5 (each to your mother and father) + 1 thats 49.5 to each of them. 49.5 * 2 its 99 and you have 1 left thats 100
