Familiar Smells We Love.

What smeels do you love and what thoughts do they conjure for you?
For me...
Fresh Baked Bread. This smell reminds me of my mom and I in a happier time of my childhood when she taught me how to make bread from flour.
The smell of fresh mowed hay. This reminds me of my grampa Hanna (my best friend and mentor-RIP). He was everything I want to be, honest, loyal, smart, respected, proud, able, and independent.
Punkin Pie yeah who doesn't love punkin pie? This smell reminds me of my gran. She made the best punkin pie I have ever tasted.

The smell of roasting chicken, reminds me of sunday dinners when the kids were little.
The smell of a campfire, so many memories of camping adventures and canoe trips on the saco river.
The smell of sherri, my grandmother's old dutch colonial house and evenings there playing with my cousins, while thge adults sipped sherri and talked in thje living room
The smell of italian cooking, sigh, incredible memories of romantic and enjoyable times at mario's with you:)

ahhhhhhhhhhhh new book smell mmmmmm god I love that. It gets me all excited about a story untold a secret that i am about to have revealed by turning the pages and reading.

Smells that seemd to bring us some memories, that inspires us and that makes us happy.
I love the smell of cinnamon, because it reminds me that my stomach is empty and needs to refill!;) A scent of morning dew reminds of my my childhood days where we can still breathe fresh air, but people destroys everything nowadays to make way for developments and housing projects.
A smell of a cold perfume like Armani, reminds me of the cold air of december!;)
So much for smell and scents, I think I have to log off now and take a bath!LoL

The smell of fresh brewed coffee. That scent is enough to wake me up and inspire me to work, work, work! It's amazing how it affects me. I must be addicted or something.

Of course I love the smell of apple pie and pumpkin pie but believe it or not...I love the smell of gasoline. LOL My Dad was a truck driver and I used to get to go with him sometimes so when I smell gasoline it reminds me of him and those days I got to share with him.

Spearmint always reminds me of my grandmother on my dad's side. She lived in another part of the state so we didn't see her often. I loved to visit there because they had a little farm on a hill, and you could look across the valley to see another little farm, like a picture postcard. It was beautiful, and she always made me feel so loved. She always had spearmint gum in her cupboard and would send a pack home with each of us when we left.
