Ah, the official date here is July 4th, 1776. The actualy date is a bit fuzzy as communication wasnt at it's best back then and not all of the constitution had been ratified by all states yet.

31 AUGUST 1957 is the installation date for the Independence Day to my country, MALAYSIA. On this commemoration date, the official country's flag and national anthem "Negara Ku" for Malaysia also declared authoritatively by our first Prime Minister(Perdana Menteri). It was held at Stadium Merdeka, Kuala Lumpur.
