Stupid Surveys That Say They Will Pay You and Then Disqualify You

Grrrr! I was about to write this discussion about how great Web Perspectives was because I had just recceived and email inviting me to a survey that said it would pay me $10. But then I get there, I answer about 10 questions, and then it tells me thanks but I do not qualify for the rest of the survey, and therefore will only get an entry into thier sweepstakes, and not the $10 I was expecting. I am really annoyed. Why do survey sites have you fill out all of those profile if they are going to send you stuff and then tell you that you don't qualify for it? I got so excited when I thought I had a $10 survey. Arg! Has this happend to anyone else? Also one time some other survey place sent me a survey, I completed it within minuted of receiveing it, I was in front of the computer when it arrived in my inbox, it was promiseing a $5 giftcard, and when I finished it it said I did not qualify because I was supposed to have filled it out "apparently" like 3 days before I ever even got it. Please share your annoying or bad survey experiences here. Also if you know any good survey sites to join that really pay and send surveys regularly, let me know.

God evening Nykkee Well, I know exactly how you feel about it. Some of these sites do not even send you any surveys. So I have stopped to even put the effort in those. They only teasing with you. I have started a few and never was qualify´d to any of them. That really upsets me. I no longer go to the sites anymore. It do not pay of and there are other sites more affordable to put your efforts and time to consider working on instead. The sites who do pay you, and sends lots of lots of mail to read and it´s paying me three times a week. I rather put my time to them since it do pay of. Have a nice evening.

Today I got two requests for a survey but did not qualify for any of them. I did a couple of question and then they said thank you, we will send more surveys later, you did not qualify this time. However, since I got to think about it. The company's that gives us a chance to do these surveys are only supplying them. It is other company s that want to know what we think. And mostly I think it is about the age, the group they are interested in who qualify´s for the surveys. But I do feel upset about it, it feels like you being deceived.

Yeah.... I know exactly how you feel. I jus received a survey from Global Test Market. Answered abt ten questions. I'm supposed to be gettin abt 80v points for the survey and after I finish half the survey, they tell me I'm not eligible and pay me 5 points. This has happened to me so many times now. I've been a member of Global Test Market for a coupla yrs now and though I receive surveys with some regularity [Not like 1 a week or anythin but at least two a month.] I haven't been able to reach the minimum payout balance which is 1000 points. I'm fed up but I still keep participating cos I don wanna waste all the aork I've done so far.

I am a member of that one too and I am in the same boat as you, I have just enough points that I don't want to give them up but not enough to get anyhting and now I can't seem to get anymore. :(

Sux doesn't it? Looks like the only way I'll ever get to make the money is if I find a bunch of referrals and I'm not too good at that. In fact I downright suck at getting referrals. :(

I am a member of quite a few, most of them give points and you can get cash for a reward. There are a few, I was a member of that sent lots but never qualified you for hardly anything. I will PM you.

Thanks for your response. It is very frustrateing trying to find pages that are worht participating in and that pay enought that you don't have to be tying to maintain like 50 accounts in different places.

There are no surveys that really pay. Well only if you buy something first or have a credit card for a free trial. I have had two that offered free gaming on my cell and pc then when I got my cell bill there were forty dollars in charges from these sites. I also could not get them removed from my cell company I had to contact the sites themselves and hope they removed me from their services. I have had no good experiences with the survey groups. My thought is if I need to make money why should I have to pay some one first. Or if I had the money to buy all the extras then why would I be on wanting to make extra cash. Damn Scammer and Spamers.

Sorry to hear you have had so much trouble. I think you have run into offer surveys, not actual survey sites or companies. I have earned over $250 from completing surveys and testing products and I never had to pay anything at all, not even to sign up. Did you do these "surveys" on a Gpt site? There are tons of "surveys" like these on gpt sites, I never use my main email address or telephone number ever for those type of offers. But with Survey Companies that I know are legit I also provide truthful information. If you want to see payment proofs of the survey sites that I have been paid by visit: http://www.blogcharm.com/Surveys

me too i answered a lot of survey that promised to give you a money.. but its all a scam! i will never ever trust any site like that again unless someone i know would recommend it or prove it that the site is worth trusting for.. and i also remember that they just keep sending me a spam on my email.. good thing is i used my other email to sign up to their misleading website.

I only have the one email address, it's too hard to keep track of 2, so I have to go back through when I get sick of a site and un-register to stop getting the emails, it's annyoing.

Boy do i know how you feel. testspin.com is the one that does that to me the most. i get atleast one survey a day from them and i almost never qualify. i think i probably qualify for 2 or 3 in a year. I belong to global test market and i've qualified for a few surveys for them, and even when i don't i've gotten 5 points. payout is 1000 points and that equals $50. I've reached payout and got paid by them and i'm halfway to payout again.

I have been disqualified from a bunch of different surveys. I have also made quite a bit of money doing surveys. Don't get me wrong, I am not getting rich! There are 4 or 5 different survey companies that I do surveys for. One of them is Your2Cents. I have gotten a couple of checks from them. Lightspeed will pay you through Paypal. I've made some money from them too. There are 2 or 3 others as well.

I will have to check out Lightspeed. I do not like comapnies that make you wiat for a cheque.....I dunno.....I'm afraid that I won;t get the check and one time I did get a check from a company in the USA and it took 30 days for it to clear with my bank, paypal is alot quicker.

I got 2 of these surveys today. I hate when they send you something that you don't qualify for. I fill out the profile information on their sites and still I get surveys that I can't take. I would like to be able to open a survey and get to do it. Some of them have been for decent amounts too. It's very frustrating.

That sucks! I'm sure they never planned on giving you the $10 in the first place... Just a scam to get information.. Don't give any personal information!

I think they did that's the worst part, I think they just only pay you if you answer all the questions with the answers that they want. That way the survey comes out in thier favor and they don't have to payout as much.

Yeah I quite doing those things exactly for those reasons!! I think they just get the info they want out of you and then say "oh no you don't qualify" so they don't have to pay you!

survey bull - there are many scams online
There really are a lot of scams online. Even if they aren't scams, there's a catch before you can earn peanuts. I myself have joined several survey sites, but I've never qualified for even one survey! Darn it!

Sorry to say Nykkee but all the survey sites are scams, yes they use your efforts to get your e-mail address, how much you earn, where you live, and even your phone numbers, then you recieve junk e mails and nucense calls, but never a payment! I have taken hundreds of survey's and as yet not one cent?? has been paid.

It is frustrating when that happens but there are sites that have paid me. My two favorites are surveyspot and opinionoutpost. I have made over four hundred dollars from surveyspot and about ninety from opinionoutpost in a year and a half. Both of these sites are free to join and they have never tried to sell me a single thing. I hope this helps.
