Hi friends,
I think most of us have something that we love to do. As for me, I love shopping so much that I can't live a day without visiting the shopping mall. A day without shopping feels like incomplete for me. I have a funny habit too. Whenever I go to the shopping mall and after doing my window shopping, if I still can't find something to buy, I will go to any department in the shopping mall and buy anything just to get the shopping mall's plastic bag/paper bag. I feel 'great' walking out from the mall with that special logo of the mall on the plastic bag/paper bag in my hand. So many times I ended up buying unnecessary stuff *laughs*

Hello ayu_asks,
Hah! You are funny. You shopped less when you were working and being a full time housewife, you ended up spending more? Definitely your husband doesn't like the idea huh? Bet, most men don't like it either....
I find it easier for me to shop during lunch hour or after office hour. I can 'lie a bit' to my hubby..Oppsss...please don't let him know!

Hello... you will never guess what is my hobby. XD
I like to assemble and collect Gundam model.Them are quite expensive(for me because i haven't started working and still a student), u know? It's fun when assemble them. When finish, you still can colour them with water colour or brush paint. After all that, you still can decorate them with a nice post. I enjoy the moment of assembling them.

I didn't have much friends interested in this kind of thing. Maybe because all my friends think it is quite expensive to play with.
Try this link here... see what gundam look like.

I am a philatelist and hasb een into this for the last 2 decades or or. I love to see any collections for that matter. I give here below, about my friend who pursued his hobby so seriously, it became his profession.
I had known a friend who was an entrepreneur in a garment industry, took to photography as a hobby. He with the help of his wife concentrated on wild life photography, only to become an internationally acclaimed wildlife photographer in 5 years. His clientable for his wildlife photographs included National Geographical society, McMillan Publishers, LIFE, TIME and other international publishers Besides photography, he had a wonderful collection of Cameras and lenses including most expensive ones. Have you ever heard of an exhibition of cameras by an individual, ameteur phoographer? I had the privilege of conducting this exhibition at Bangalore ONE MAN CAMERA SHOW. His dedication, enthusiasm, hardwork got him interested in the hobby which brought him laurels and millions in cash from all over the world. In journalism circle, his name was the talk of the town.

Hello ajesh_pullad,
Same here. I don't have enough time to spend for my hobby. Few years back, I loved to go for outdoor activities but due to limited free time that I have now, I prefer to have indoor activities like reading, listening to my favorite music and etc.

I love arts. May it be drawings, paintings or photo shoots. I'll keep all my creations in a box. When I get older, I'll look back what I've painted in the early days. I think arts give me a sense of satisfactory.

Hello ifinallyfoundmybaby,
Thanks to you too for spending time responding to my discussions. I am glad that you did. By the way, I think you are good with computer and always up todate with the latest tech. I am still a beginner *smiles* Have a good husband who knows most of the tech stuff but still act arrogantly and don't want to learn from him *laughs*

When I'm at home, I used to read a lot of books and magazines. Time is well-spent and time is so fast when I read something very interesting. I also browse the net, and my day is not complete without it.

My hobbys involve making/creating things. My favorite thing is making handmade cards by rubber stamping. My family also loves receiving them. I also like scrapbooking and recently I've been making quilt tops. Sewing has only been a hobby in the past two years. But it's fun to create a quilt top and see it come together. I've had to go a couple days without doing it because I needed more material. It's driving me nuts not to be working on it. But with kids, working on my hobby is time limiting. That's life.

Hello simplyshawn,
I am not good at handcrafts or anything related to women *smiles* I can't even plant a tree. I am helpless whenever it comes to sewing, decorating things and etc. I love to read but like you said, with kids it is just so hard to find your own sweet time sometimes...

That's one of the thing I'd like to make as one of my hobby I think that's gonna be so refreshing and can un load stress ha ha ha.
Seriously I have a lot of hobby from reading books and magazines, cross stitching, baking, cooking, gardening, watching televisions and DVD, listening to radio and internet surfing to playing with my pets. But what I enjoy most is reading any reading materials as I learn a lot from that followed by cross stiching. I like the feeling of seeing my cross stitch in our wall. I like to display them and be seen by others.

Hello dhedows118,
It is better to have many hobbies rather than sitting/spending time doing nothing. I love to learn more on making handicrafts and be a bit feminine ( well I am feminine enough but still lacking of those feminine hobbies like cross stitching, baking and etc) I love cooking and reading too but most of the time...I just go shopping as you said...to unload the stress!

Hello asawanialvin0611,
Thanks for your response. That is one of the ways to relieve stress. I loved shopping too but not now anymore. When I was single, I only have to think of myself but right now, the most important is my family. Once a while, I will go shopping with my husband and kid but, it is not that easy when your kid is around.

my hobby is listening to Mozarts classical music, his
sonatas, and violin pieces. they soothe and calm me
when I am under a lot of stress. I also listen to the
teacher lecture series on mozart's music to learn new
things about mozart the man and about his fantastic
ability to write brilliant pieces of music. I have
learned a great deal from these tapes.

Hello rhane7315,
Honestly speaking, I am not good at games and I am not that up-to-date person whenever we talk about online games and so on. I think it is good for you to play online games and surf the net rather than staying outside and do nothing. Thanks for sharing it with us here.

I like scrapbooking and taking pictures. I take so many pictures that it's not even funny. I like scrapbooking because I have photo's in an album that everyone likes to look at and I'll be able to keep them and look back at them years down the road. I have tons of pages of my son and I look back at some of my layouts and think of how much my son has changed and grown in just a short amount of time.

Hello sweetgirl_k1,
A collection of photographs always brings a sweet memory to me. I love to collect photographs but I am not really good at photography. I have been thinking to do scrapbooking. Maybe it is good for me as I love indoor activities more than outdoors. I can spend time with my son too and share the interest with him later. Who knows...

Hello mrdinesh,
That is right. The more you spend time with your friends, the better it will be for the sake of your friendship. I spend most of the time at home as I am a mother of a one year old son and need to take care of him the most. I keep in touch with my friends online or just call them up sometimes..

Oh gosh! I LOVE shopping! Shopping always makes me feel better! I just need to get rich so I can afford for shopping to me my hobby!
I suppose my main hobby is photography. I have a pretty decent camera and I love to play with Photoshop. I mainly photograph my family and nature. I am in dire need of some pictures frames. I have so many photographs laying around that need frames!

My hobbie is gaming of any sort. *is a girl-geek* Lol, from World of Warcraft to God of War to The Sims 2, I've played them all. I enjoy gaming because its a great way to pass time; and it relieves stress when you come home from work/school. Also it has sharped my reflexes and made me more aware of my surroundings, seeing how I am always the first one to react to a green light on the streets or pull someone away from a random falling object.
Gaming is good for you, people, especially with the new Wii games coming out; it's interactive and it requires you to wiggle around instead of laying on that couch of yours! I can't wait till I can get myself a wii! Currently saving up for my college courses though. *sigh*
