Kobe Bryant is forever trying to impress the NBA with skills that he "does not have". Making his number one greater then that of the Michael Jordan, shows how ignorant he is.
I put THE in front of Michael Jordan's name because he was THE MJ. No one could compare to him, and no one probably ever will for atleast 25 more years.
Now, do not get me wrong. Kobe Bryant is an excellent player who shines above the rest of his team. And do you know why he shines above the rest of his team? Well- the reason is simple- he does not pass the ball.

Thanks man,i without jordan in the league,i put much attention on Kobe comparing with Tracy,as now ,he got a good helper ,Paul Gasol,i believe they will make the Lakers much better~

Luckywolf, every Jordan fan knew how Jordan got his number - from his elder brother (older brother's got 45 as a number and, as Jordan said, if he cannot be as great a basketball player as his brother he may at least be one more than one half as great). Obviously, Bryant got his number from Jordan - it should always be one higher than Jordan's number.

Well that's probably not an ' accident' neither a coincidence. Kobe and Jordan are the two most exciting players NBA has ever produced . Until now people are still trying to figure out who is better ? This 'hype' will probably last for quite sometime still until one better player emerges in the screen.
