Im off to the hospital for an level II ultrasound for theres a chance my baby has down syndrome, its been almost 2 weeks since i wsa told the news and i have lost many nights of sleep over it, im hoping as they sometime can be that the results were wrong and i have a healthy baby but at the sametime im aniticapting the sad news. i will be sure to give an update when i get back! plesae keep me and my little angel in your prayers

I do wish you luck but I have to tell you that I have a Downes Syndrome granddaughter and she is the best thing that ever happened to our family...believe me when I say that. They didn't know she was Downes when my daughter had her and it actually took almost a day for the doctors to figure it out and when they told my daughter her first thought was to give her up. Thank God she didn't. My daughter is lucky because this child doesn't have all of the usual problems that these kids have and now at 14 years old she's almost like a regular teenage girl. Please don't be too upset if they confirm this news because there are Downes kids who live almost normal lives and although at times they are a lot of hard work it is soooo worth it because of all the love and happiness he/she will bring you. Good luck at that ultra sound...I know how hard this is for you. If you ever want to talk just pm me.

Thank you for your kind words they are comforting and i would of been sad to know my little one had downs but only for a brief time once i adjusted i would of surely welcomed her with open arms it was the fact of not knowing that had me all riled up but i do thank you for your support~! and i may just take you up on that pm sometime :)

I'm soooo happy to hear that your little one is a healthy one. It's too bad that you had to go through that spell of thinking it may not be that way. I will be praying for you until you have that little angel.

Thank you although the tech seemed sure my little one was healthy a prayer from now till she is born wont hurt just to be sure she is safe happy and healthy thanks again i appreciate it

Your right and in my case they may have done just that according to the ultrasound tech, thanks for your support i appreciate it

oh princess,I amso sorry to hear about your baby...Just don't look at the down side, your baby will be just as special as if nothing was wrong...I wish you luck but most of all I'll keep you and your baby in my prayers...I will start a prayer chain with my church for you...God Bless!

Thank you SO much and your right every child is a blessing and the scary part is not knowing regardless i will love this child but i wanted to be prepared and today at the ultrsound the ultrasound tech seemed quite sure when she told me my baby was healthy and im an very thankful for that

You are in my prayers always. GOD won't give you something he doesn't think you can handle. All children are beautiful no matter the shape, size, conditions, etc. You will learn to love the child no matter what. I can tell you are a special person.

I do hope and pray your little one is healthy. However do understand that down syndrome babies are very very loving and caring. They grow up to do things on their own and I have seen it very often that God gives down syndrome babies to parents and also gives them a lot of money to look after them. Keep heart dear one. God Bless you and the baby always.
