Have you ever encountered such a problem? I don't know if it's just me. But has it ever happened to you in mylot, when after taking some time typing, figuring out the right words, spelling, and so on and when you finally hit submit button, you are no longer on line? I do not know how to solve this problem! Does anyone know? No, there's nothing wrong with my internet connection. It is in mylot. Maybe ther's a button here where I can find that says DO NOT automatically log off or something. It is so frustrating. Then of course, when I take so long, I would copy paste it to my word file. But there was this instance when I couldn't because I w as cut off by supposedly people here demanding my attention at that moment and needed to submit right off. So my discussion is gone or a very thought out response is gone and I just don't want to repeat what I have just written, it seems that it wouldn't be the same. So please anybody know how this should work? Thanks so much.

I remember the time when I was new at mylot I still using the dialup system. The network was too slow that I needed almost half an hour or more to view a new discussion of friend and then typed, checked spelling and sent. Yeah, it was quite frustrating when I failed to send the response and the content I had typed had disappeared all together and could see only a blanked space. I then had to redo the same thing again. It was quite sad and disappointed.
When I came to know that I could do my copy, cut and paste if reached the minimum posts of 500th I then started to slog away at posting try to achieve my 500th posts. So my friend, you know how happy I was, at the moment when I first reached my desirable goal.
I hope you will reach the 500th post very soon. Good luck.

Hi Ikbooi. I am now using a broadband unlike before I was still, also like you then, using a dial up. But, even as I am using a speedier broadband now, there are times that I take a lot of time in answering and sometimes I would make a quick visit to the bathroom, then continue on with my answer or my response to eventually find that I am not logged in to mylot anymore. So, it has nothing to do with the internet connection. It is with mylot. And it's frustrating me. That is why I am trying to be as quick with my responses. Well, I have to work hard on reaching my 500th post so I could then use copy paste. Thanks, Ikbooi. I hope to reach that as soon as possible! LOL

Lol... same habit, my dear friend, “to make a quick visit to the bathroom” so as to spare more time for mylotting.
I did experience to send a comment to a friend but ended up with failure. I then tried again and again, after 10 trials I then gave up. Luckily copy and paste saved me a lot of time. After I changed the content and sent again, I finally got it.
Keep on posting, you will soon achieve your target
With best wishes.

Hahaha. So, I may not be the only one to take my leisurely time while being on mylot then have to go visit the bathroom as a habit!LOL That's nice to know we have that in common!hehe
Well, things like concerning this really is frustrating. I really do hope I will get to that targeted number in no time. Meantime, I will try to not to make a very long response or comment and not take my usual
leisurely time.LOL
Thanks my friend for your best wishes.

Wow, that sounds a very nice way of using mylot. It saves so much time I guess, very convenient! I guess, I do really have to do more work to be able to reach to 500 posts. One of the benefits of working hard in mylot I guess.

Hope your problem are resolved by now. I think it's just the mylot cookie detection problem. It could be just part of the Mylot security measure, where it try to prevent multiple login within one computer. I experienced that when my family member are sharing one computer with 2 Mylot accounts. Sometimes, it really frustrating to find that it logged off by itself. This is especially obvious when logging using different account in the same day. My mum was frustrated because her account was still new by that time and she was not allowed to copy and paste what had been typed in the Mylot. What she tried out is prepare all the discussion response in the Microsoft Word and submit when getting onlin again (using dialup modem). Right now my problem resolved after I getting a laptop and my mum continue using the desktop at home. I am working outstation now and sometimes, I find that it's really hard to have time having fun in Mylot.

Hi cheongyc!
I am really sorry that you are finding less time logging on to mylot due to your work. But, come to think of it, you still can find time once in awhile to hang out here and have fun. It is also good to have steady and good friends in mylot that you can count on.
About my problem on being logged off all of a sudden while still using mylot, it still hasn't been resolved. Unfortunately, I don't know how to solve this. How do I solve this through mylot cookie detection? Would you know? I am the only one using my laptop and it always happens whenever I take quite some time in corresponding in mylot. I only have one account so how is that? I hope you can finally help me on this. Thank you so much in advance! God bless!

Hi cheongyc. It is really good to be in mylot even only once in awhile due to one's busy schedule and I do agree with you, it is better than none! Lol. I really appreciate you willingness to help and what you have divulged to me, I do so religiously since. It has now been part of my ritual to use while posting or responding here in mylot, but unfortunately, I still have not yet reached 500 posts where I get the privelege of using 'copy and paste'. But, on positive note, I am not too far off, and in no time will eventually reach my goal. So, thanks again. Cheers!
