Besides the normal bills and I try to put a little money away when I can for things on the "wish list". These items can range from stuff for my home, like a new refridgerator (this is a big one), to a new cosmetic or book. Often I put my mylot money towards these items, as well as money I make selling crafts in my etsy store
What are somethings on your "wish list"?
Do you put you mylot money towards saving for those things?

My savings have been depleated by a few unforseen delays in payment that were due to me. I save primarily for the security of having cash in the bank, ready for a day when the jobs simply don't come in and I still need to pay the bills.

I'm saving right now for next summer's vacation and a down payment on a Toyota Prius. I'm shooting for June for that one.

Saving amount is good habit but i don't left with much money to save or fulfill my wishes. I simple save very less amount in mutual fund and i hope i will never withdraw until and unless a big need is there.

I'm saving some money to buy a laptop. My personal computer needs to be replaced, I'm still using it for typing some documents and printing but I can't do much about it except for what I've mentioned. Most of the time I'm using my brother's computer since he is at work most of the time, just like now =)

I'm saving for my future! I just don't want to do so many work when I'm old. I just want to be happy here and there when I'm old. hehe

I am saving money for my daughter's further education abroad. She is only one year old now actually. :)
I am also saving money for a new house in downtown. We live in the suburbs, but my husband and I work in downtown. Houses in downtown are much more expensive than those in the suburbs.

I would like a bike. We sold mine because I wasn't using it and we needed the cash, but it'd be nice to have one.
Maybe a better camera for Dh, as he's been into photography lately.
And an ice cream maker would be nice too.
Right now, mylot money is going towards getting out of debt.

I have the habit of saving money when I was young. I do not like liability and would prefer to use my own money to buy whatever I want. If possible I would rather pay a lump sum and it has to be coming from my savings. Also, I'm saving for rainy days.

I haven't started officially but I want to save for a down payment on a house. It won't be for at least a few years. I also want to save for a new car when my od car breaks down. My car is in good shape now but I want to be able to have enough money to pay cash for a new car when the time comes to get another one. And also to save for travel.

I am saving for Christmas a little bit. But, mostly I am saving because my husband happens to be horrible with money, so I want to have extra on hand just in case he decides to "take over the bills" again...which means spend the money and only pay a fraction of the bills! Hoping it doesn't come to that because he is much less stressed now that I am taking care of things. Plus, I'll have this nice little savings for a rainy day!

we have lots of differences between us. but i agree with you. i put some money awawy when there is enough to live. i do some parttime work. and i put them awawy to pay for stuff which is important but not ready for. there is crash to get rid of something when we need. of course,i spend some in buying some book and cd. it cost a little money to have something that can't be told my parents. if it is enough in mylot accout or others, i am sure i will put them towards saving for buying books, cell phone and others
