Hi, can someone give me tips to increase my website's ratings in google FOR FREE? I DON'T NEED any sales talk or any networking or referrals about various sites that asks me to pay. I just need a tip to help my site be found among the top 10 on google search on a particular keyword.
I have already submitted my site to various web crawlers and spiders..but still its not among the top especially when i type the desired keyword. i wonder what's wrong?

Hi! Try to submit your url to free web directories and submit articles to ezines. Don't forget to place your url below the article so that you will create backlinks to your website. Well I'm doing that right now to promote my website. If you have free time visit http://www.zetrocity.com.

Change your Title Meta for starters. it is all one word.. seperate them.
List your website on www.aboutus.org. Use free press releases, www.free-press-release.com. Search for every forum or disscusion sites online for "writing & writers".. add content. Search for niche directories online "writing - writer directories" add your website. Go to www.about.com and serach for writing.. join and contribute. Blog daily focusing on your market.. have several blogs. There are so many ways! It all does take work and time. Make sure that all of your webpages have a keyword phrase focus. Go to overture and see what the frequency actually is of your keywords/phrases. make sure you are focusing on the write ones. Define your niche. if you use something to braod... your competion is to large. Narrow it down. :-)
