True friends..

Living the way I do its easy to see who your true friends are, because so many people cant handle being friends with someone who is terminal.
And then on top of that there are the pure sympathy friendships, that really bugs me.
Anyone else have the same problem. or maybe its not a problem for you. either way, come share,

Hi emoducky, I'm not in your situation, but I have a friend who is, so I understand something about what it's like. He doesn't like the sympathy friendships either. A true friend doesn't treat you any different because you're terminal. Maybe we shouldn't be too tough on other people, because sometimes they just don't know what to do or say. If I could speak to such people I would say, just be yourself. Blessings.
