i had a weird dream last night. I know it's weird, but I can't remember it anymore as I am trying to remember it when I woke up earlier. Question just pops up on my mind right now while I am thinking of my weird dream.
Why do we often forget our dreams?

i think we forget our dreams because when we wake up, real life takes over. most of the time our dreams are pretty far out. if it is something i want to remember, i write it down the minute i wake up (i have used dreams for a chapter in a book that i am writing!!)

so this makes me realize that we have a conscious and subconscious mind then. so our dreams is part of the subconscious mind probably. and i think, a large percentage of our mind is also asleep when we are sleeping. :) thanks.

As you wake up more and more your dreams leave you, happens to me all the time. Some people keep a dream journal by their bed to jot their dreams down when they wake up so they can remember them.

We seems to forget them since we only have them in the early morning when we have the best time of sleep. So if it is not bad, we tend to forget them, however if the dreams are bad I do always remember them. They also wake me up. If your dream was a bad dream, do not try do remember it´s better to live it.
