Longest phone conversation

A man will start an attempt to break the record for the longest telephone conversation.
Tony Wright, who already claims to have set a record for the longest period without sleeping after he stayed awake for 11 days, will now try to have a phone conversation for more than 39 hours.
How about you? How long had you stayed on the phone. And why did it take you that long? I think the longest phone conversation I had was nearly three hours. I was talking to my best friend then and there's just loads of things to chat about as we haven't seen each other for ages.
How about you?

My girlfriend and I stay on the Phone for hours. especially if we haven't talk to each other in a while. When we have problems we are both there for each other.

The longest telephone conversation I've ever had was with a friend who was freaking out because she was having some kind of post-traumatic-stress syndrome.
I'm not sure just what happened to her, as she never told me because it was too painful for her to talk about, but my guess is that she had been raped--and, likely, by a close relative.
But she called me one evening (I think around eight or nine at night) to ask me if I would just talk to her until she fell asleep and be there in case she woke up screaming.
We ended up talking for several hours, and she told me that she thought that she was finally to the place where she could sleep but to please just stay on with her.
So, I did, and we both fell asleep.
I think that, at this time, we had started talking the previous evening, and it was now about four in the morning.
So, we both slept until around noon--which is when a program that was a mutual favorite of ours (All My Children) came on, so we ended up watching it (and discussing it) while we still talked.
After AMC was over, we must have talked about an hour more before finally hanging up.
Obviously, I was less busy back then than I am today--yet, given the same situation, I would, likely, do it again if at all possible because this was an exceptional situation.
As for long phone conversations these days, my longest ones are with Russell. We usually talk once-a-week with our calls lasting anywhere from 1 1/2 to 3 hours on average. However, I believe our longest conversation (when we both had a lot to discuss and weren't being distracted) was almost 5 hours. But that only happened once.

I can be on the line for hours and it ever happened few times. I do not remember the hours but I did spend the whole night on the phone into the wee hours several times. I would remember the call would start normally around 11+ pm and I target to end by 1am but unknowingly it is almost 4am when we checked the time.

I know, right? 39 hours? What's the point? Good luck with him anyway.
As for me, I think the longest phone conversation I had lasted for an hour or two. I was talking to a really close friend and all the words just flow and before I know it, I've been sitting there for ages.
