What's best cell phone?

It's that time again to upgrade to new cell phones. I go through Verizon, and am looking for a cell phone with a long battery life and good reception in more remote areas. I'm considering the Motorola Razor K1m because of the specified talk time. Anyone have that phone or one they recommend? I don't need extra features or a qwerty keyboard.
