what age do you let boys start playing football

I say let him play. There are football teams around here for young kids. If he wants to play I say let him, but don't pressure him into it.

It is usually above 12 years, if they are strong and robust. Otherwise they just cannot kick the ball around the ground and get tired in no time. However, they play football with a smaller ball than the normal football and this they do when they are between 8 adn 12 years. Generally football is not very popularamong the kids here in this part of the world.

I would personally wait another year. Although I know they have prep football courses for younger kids that you can put them in to prepare them for the sport.
