I have a core 2 duo processor, 80 gb harddisk and 1 gb ram system with a intel motherboard. I play a lot of games with that too but my Graphic card can't play all the games so i'm loking to upgrade and get an external graphic card. Apart from that this PC configuration has worked fine for me, be it college work or watching movies and listening music. The only thing left is playing next gen games on it, although almost all games work but some requiring upgraded features don't work so when i get it, my pc will be having the best configutration. Whats your pc configuration? All games work on your PC or you have to get an upgraded graphic card as well.

What.... what !!! You gotta 200 gb hard disk and you still want more space. You didn't tell which processor you have got. I too download a lot of games but i keep only selected ones on my hard disk. Movies and Music takes a lot of space on my hard drive as well and then there are so many softwares that i've got. But 200 gb is really damn good enough to keep all kinds of games, movies and music. 400 gb would be too much but you're the best person to know your needs so go ahead if you are short of space and really need more of it. But you'll need to upgrade your RAM as well to more than 1gb to match a 400 gb hard disk or even the 200 gb that you already have, and a real good processor.

I really like these new 3 ghz processors, they are really very fast. You gotta 915 motherboard, 945 motherboard would be the perfect match for your processor or just wait for sometime as Intel's new 4 core processor proves its worth in the market, Imagine how fast this 4 core processor will be if you compare it to your already so fast 3 ghz processor. Oh man i can't wait to upgrade my Pc.....

I've upgraded RAM too but i'll look to get a larger spaced ahrd disk only when i get a new and better processor as well as motherboard. Still with this configuration you can do most things, except that some games are too specific about processor and motherboards so can't do much about that.

You got it almost the same as mine, which motherboard are you using..... I've checked the new processors with over 3ghz and they are really a lot faster than my 2.66 ghz processor. I wanna upgrade but i'll wait until the next gen games for PC are released and in that time more upgraded processors will come, so i'll upgrade to the latest one at that time.

Oh well...I am using Pentium 4(2.6 GHz),80+10 GB hard disk and 512 MB RAM.The problem with my PC is similar to yours...It won't support games like Need For Speed Most Wanted,FIFA and such other newer ones...because I have a Graphic card of only 32 MB.It did run some of the games which other cards of similar configuration didn't run.anyways,I suggest that you buy an NVidia GT 256 MB card.Uptill now,it is considered to be one of the best graphic cards.

Need for Speed : Most Wanted works fine on my PC. I've got a 128 mb grahics card and 1gb RAM, so that maybe the difference between yours and mine. But NFS Carbon doesn't work, most of the games work on my PC except the ones that have been released in last two months. I've heard of NVidia grahic card too, some of my friends are using it and it seems to work perfectly alright. YOu didn't think of buying it.......

2gb RAM and 300 gb Hard disk, now thats called big. When you have this much RAM and such large spaced hard disk then why don't you get a better processor, it will make your PC perfect, much like what i'm going to get for an upgrade.
