Would you get down on your knees to show gratitude to your teachers?

Recently, a famous English training tutor in China has given a speech in a Chinese high school and convinced hundreds of students to get down on their knees to show their gratitude to their teachers. This has generated a lot of controversy in China right now and many people believe it is kind of indignity. What do you think of it and how would you like to show your gratitude to your teachers?

it depends I think...ere we only kneel down in church while praying to God.

Chinese people used to kneel down to their parents, teachers and theri "God" to show their gratitude but now it is a different world in China so it is kind of weird to show grtitude to teachers in this way today.
