How many friends do you have??

Hello! I love making friends. But am quite choosey too. I make "Hi, Hello" saying friends a lot. But when it comes to close friendship I always prefer to have less friends and choose them after really knowing them.
What about you? How many close friends do you have? Do you believe in making lots of friends or few good friends?

you mean good friend? i have only one, but we dont'often contact with each other.
frankly, i have another male good friend, he is my boyfriend's friend, so i dont't think he must be my good friend, if i leave my boyfriend.
i have some friends who like dancing, then we often go to dancing pub together.
i have several friends who like going shopping, then we go shopping together when we are all free.

Why to count the friends? Do you believe in that who has more friened has the real concept of friendship?
Rather, it is more important that hows your concept of friendship and applying it when you fo for friendship! Knowing so many people is different than so many friends: I hardly believe those persons who say that I have lots of friends! Because friendship is a binding that involves so many things!

I guess you haven't read the whole discussion because then you wouldn't have asked me that if I believe in making lots of friends because I have written there clearly that I choosey in making friends and make very less close friends after that too after really knowing them. Anyways, thanks for responding!

Hi again,
I have a lot of friends,however,I don't have so many close friends,I think that close friends is the friends who have the same dreams as you,who have the same sought as you,they can give you advice when you make a mistake ,they can company with you no matter you are in happiness or in sorrows,they are our spirtual support.I think this kind of perso is rare in our dailylife,so I don't have so much close friends.;-)

Hello Molly! I don't think its neccessary for close friends to have the same dreams. But yes, true friends should be such that they should give advice when you make mistakes. Thanks for responding!

I am with you, I have many hello-good-bye friends! I am very choosy who I really get friendly with. I have a best friend and we have been friends since she was 6 and I was 8. We have gone through everything together and I love her very much and she loves me. I can't imagine a day when we don't speak. We both have other friends but none as close as our friendship.

Hello indiavani, I have many friends and most of the people I meet becomes my friend. But really close friends I have several of them that I have known for many years. They are my best friends that I can trust and talk to.

I have two good friends whom I can rely for all my emotional, social and for company sake. I have couple of friends not really very close, through internet. I have hundreds in mylot. But ultimately, it is two friends who seem to be with me and I am with them most of the time when we need each other for discussion, sharing and consultations.

To be frank , i cannot count it. making friends is very easy and maintaining is too tough.I have many friends whom i got thruogh short messaging service of mobile , chat of internet , etc,. many come and run away. Few standby as they match my character. I still donot know who considers me as their real freind. my cloest are very few, who stays in touch on all important occasions and sad situations, Friends are my pillars who are great support to all my steps of life.

I do not have any true friends. Just people that are friends. There is a big differance in a true friend, and just some one that calls you a friend.

me they have a lot more of friends but about my close friends they have an only one, you know in our town i have mini friends because me im dancer. So i can meet a lot people who beleiving me. they a friends must go on anywhere, friends from drinking, I have a friends if they a trouble....
