In Venezuela,"Secuestro Express" has smashed all box-office records for a home-grown productionm and it is fast eclipsing Hollywood's biggest hits. It is the first Venezuelan film to be distributed internationally by a Hollywood studio Miramax - and has opened to warm reviews in major American markets. On October9.it was shown at the Raindance Film Festival in London.
