Now that even the US are waking up to the fact that global warming is happening I think it's about time we started doing something about it.
Our future is at stake here, I believe that if we act now we help our planet to heal itself. Please reply to this discussion with your ideas for how we can save our planet. I have great faith in the abilities of the human race and am confident we can avert this impending doom.

I think he's a little late!...lol...we've known global warming is a fact for a long time. It seems we have been trying to do the right thing for years but it doesn't seem to be helping. Years ago people changed their life styles in hopes of helping the environment and it doesn't look like anything has worked. I can remember when at least 30 years ago my husband and I decided to stop using aerosol products to "help save the earth" and I've stuck by that and never use them but I guess it didn't make a difference in the long run. I'm beginning to think maybe after all this time everything we were told would harm the environment was just a teeny part of it. There has to be more we can do.

Thanks for the great response, I've marked it as the best. Don't give up hope, without your efforts we could be in an even worse position than we are currently. While we all are a small part of it, collectively we can and will make a difference. I'm really pleased to hear that you are doing your bit, it motivates me to continue with my efforts.
