Do you only buy shoes when they are on sale?

One of my favorite things to buy on clearance is jewelry. It's the same high quality as it's ever been, but at clearance prices. One of my least favorite things to buy on clearance is shoes. Usually there's a reason they are on clearance, such as they've been previously returned by another customer or have a flaw. Shoe attire is too important to go cheap. At least that's my opinion. So, what's your most favorite thing to buy on clearance? And, what is your least favorite thing to buy on clearance? Do you have any bad experience with the quality of certain clearance items? Do you find that clearance shoes are just as good as the full priced ones?

I often buy shoes on sale. Although none of the shoe sales I've been to sell damaged or flawed items. The stores are usually just trying to get sell the remaining stock from that season to make room for the new styles coming in. If I can find the right size, then I can save a lot of money for shoes that I would have otherwise bought for full price.

I buy a new pair of shoes only when it is out of necessity, like a special occasion, and that I have the funds. If I am cash-strapped, I just make do of what I have at home. Of course, one great attraction is when the items are on sale...that would be another consideration. Like these days, I feel I need a new pair since I am going to Malaysia and Singapore to do benchmarking of schools there. And it's a good thing I have some funds for it, so I will buy a pair, whether they are on sale or not. Of course, my work require that I should look decent and smart...the reason why I need to buy accessories to look and feel good.

I looooove going in to the expensive stores like American Eagle, and Abercrombie and Hollister and buy clearance clothes, mostly t-shirts. I lovve shirts and I love to buy the brand name stuff so I try to get the previously expensive stuff.. I just bought a shirt from AE that was originally 20 bucks. It was marked down to 5.97! I never buy shoes on clearance. I've boughten shoes on SALE though, like buy one get one half or just things being marked down. There's a difference between clearance and Sales. Clearance usually means they just want to get rid of it. Sales are like a.. "buy us we're promoting and lowering our prices for a week" sort of thing.

I'm pretty impulsive in buying things and whenever I see the SALE sign, my heart beats faster and I get excited to browse the sale items. I don't only buy shoes on sale, I also love buying clothes, accesories and bags ... whenever I have extra money of course =)

I do get shoes on special. Usually when they are on special is because they have new cathalog and the old one does not have all the colours or sizes so they have to sell them to make space for the new shoes as they have all the colours and sizes. They have limited space so they dont want to have 5 pairs of size 10 just sitting there when they can hace 5 pairs of shoes that are most likely to sell. I dont compromise on quality and comfort so I dont buy them for the sake of the price I buy them because I like them. Not all my shoes are from specials I do buy full price as well but I see no difference in the quality.

I normally only buy when on sale, working in retail for over 15 years I know all the gimmics if you pay full price for anything than you got ripped off. The markups that are charged are huge and they are that way for a reason so the companies can put things on sale and still make good profits. Shoes especially poor on average if you are paying 40.00 regular for a pair of shoes they probably cost the store 4 or 5 bucks so you do the math they can say they are having a huge blow out 50% off and still make a ton of money.

I can't say that I ONLY buy shoes when they are on sale, but I sure do like it when a great sale hits and I need shoes. If I really need a pair of shoes, then I will buy them --sale or no sale. But, if I am shopping and see a sale on shoes that I would like to have (or a type that I wear often), I will usually buy a pair. For instance, my favorite show store runs a "Buy One Get the 2nd Pair 50% Off" sale periodically. There is a particular athletic show that I wear just about every day. When that sale starts, I will usually buy two pairs of the athletic shoes, whether I am needing new ones or not. I just store them until the current pair needs replacing.

I have to buy everything on sale, we have a very tight budget here. I don't worry about comming off cheap, rather I come of logical more so. Besides, what is the deal with feet? I never could understand women (and men also), that have a thing for looking at someones feet to see what they have on them. I sometimes wonder if what they find on the bottom of them as interesting, LOL.

I buy shoes when they are on sale usually. I don't even look when they are on clearance usually, though. I am picky about shoes, and usually the good ones are gone before they go on clearance. I buy a lot of clothes for my son when they are on clearance. Most of the clothes I buy for my nieces come from the clearance section, too. There is nothing wrong with them. They just didn't sell as fast as other things. There are often really cute little girl clothes especially on clearance. Boy clothes don't seem to go on clearance as much, though. But I always look anyway.

I mostly buy my clothes and shoes on sale. I never buy at retail prices and wait when they have holiday weekends as that is a good time to buy. I love sales!

Yes, because when you do, they are usually really really cheap, or you might even get a buy one and get one free deal which is even better. So why spend less on cheaper shoes that are less in quality and will probably wear out more quickly when you can wait awhile until a sale is on and get something even better?

I do buy shoes when they are on sale. I have bought a few pairs on sale. The price is much cheaper than they used to. It is really a good bargain to buy shoes on sale...

i dont have any problem buying clearance stuff, its part of my shopping routine to check clearance items(Target and Macys)One time my kid told his friend that his favorite place in Target is at the back of the display where we can find the red tag items.
