Well, this is just my personal opinion, because I don't think anyone living in this reality can answer your question, but it seems to me that God exists outside the dimension that we refer to as Reality. My reasoning comes from the enlightenment I have had through studying Bhuddist Philosophy.
At this point I should probably clarify that I feel there is a BIG difference between Bhuddism as a religion, and Bhuddism as a Philosophy. According to historical record, Bhudda himself told his followers not to make a religion out of his teachings.
The part of the teachings I am refering to is the differences between Ultimate Reality, and Conditional Reality.
Ultimate Reality is any phenomena that depends on NOTHING ELSE for it's existence. God is the only phenomena I am aware of that falls into that category.
Conditional Reality is everything else we are aware of. Every conditional phenomena depends on other conditions and phenomena for it's continued existence. When one or more of those other conditions changes, said phenomena also ceases, or changes. Example, plants depend on the following partial list of conditions. Light, Water, Atmosphere, Gravity, etc.. if any one of those were absent, plant life as we know it would be either completely different, or non-existant.
Don't know if any of this answers your question or not, but God obviously existed outside of time, matter, space, and anything else we can concieve of.
Have a great weekend. David

Your argument holds water, but it's coming from a guy who started a false religion. The only true religion is Christianity. But David, some things are beyond our understanding, like your question.
Only the Lord can answer that.

I personally believe that there was an existance before human and God is the reminant of it. As for God creating the Heavens and the earth it MAY BE that it was created as we know it and something existed before it. This would consist of IMPROVEMENT rather than CREATION.
Check this out and let mee know what you think: http://basicinformationbeforeleavingearth.blogspot.com/

God is Spirit. Genesis 1:2 says the Spirit of God was moving over the face of the waters. That was before He began creating. The Holy Bible also says that God is everywhere and so we cannot point out a definite place where God was, is, and will be.
