For some, it may indeed be a problem, especially if they are tasked to come up with a thesis as a group, and some of the members of the group are slackers or not doing their part to finally finish the thesis.
For most, though, I really feel that it's actually more of a challenge, especially for those who have their thesis in their final year because graduation seems so near yet so far, and their drive to finish their thesis, considering that they're already at the tail-end of their student lives is perhaps waning already.
To be sure, for one to finish his/her thesis, he/she must really put great amounts of effort and even sacrifice because it requires a lot like gathering and collating a gamut of data, carefully thorough analysis of such data, even some amount of money, and a lot lot more.
In the end, though, the feeling of finally finishing something that you worked very hard for and is truly a product of your mind is truly much greater than the challenges that come along with finishing your thesis, and it would surely just make your graduation a whole lot sweeter.
