What did you mean by blocked connection? Would you please clearrify your enquery?
Did you mean you want to have email while your internet connection is off? Or, you want to have email from a connection that has been blocked by your internet service provider?
Please clearify!

Hi...Well,we were facing a similar problem in our university as you are. Those 'Lab Support' guys had blocked all such sites like orkut,FaceBook,Youtube and all that. So,we broke this blocked stuff through a software known as "JAP".It is free to use.In the beginning, you have to provide the internet proxy of your college or university or whatever to its configuration. After that, you have to change your internet proxy with its "localhost" proxy. At first use,it takes about 15-20 minutes for connecting, but once it is connected, the next time,it connects in less than a minute.
Good Luck and Take care.
