I thought using anti dandruff shampoos such as head and shoulders regularly would solve this problem. But the result is, i lost some of my hair and now some silver hairs on my head. What way can i remove dandruff? Is natural approach the best? what do you suggest? Do you have the same problem?

There are a lot of causes of dandruff. It could be due to the shampoo you are using or it could be due from stress...My husband used to have the same problem you have. He tried using that head and shoulders also but it was not effective. A new shampoo product, Clear, which he tried was effective and his with no more dandruff now...And I hope it would also work with you...

cool - I used CLEAR anti-dandruff shampoo for some time, too. but maybe it's better to not use anti-dandruff shampoos very frequently, as they can dry the hair.

Use essential oils like: Olive Oil and Tea Tree Oil.

have you consulted a hair dresser? thats who i would talk to or even your family physician! (its surprising how much they know lol!!) i had the same problem, but it was because of a dry scalp, it seems that where the skin is patchy on your head, it stops hair from growning...i bought special shampoo from the hair dressers...

For getting rid of the dandruff, once I was tipped by a hairdresser that I can use 3 different shampoos in turn in 3 different times. I took the advice and gave it a try. Less then one month I notice the effect and carry on doing it since. So if you are interest, you can give a try. Good luck!

Hi there. I use a "Tea tree anti dandruff shampoo" its really great and does what it says... Then when conditioning, I only condition away from my sculp and do the tips as well, and really rinse well, otherwise build up is formed and then dandruff...

Usually they do. But for Head and Shoulders, I've always found it a bit harsh on my scalp and my hair seems to dry out so it's brittle and breaks more easily. You can try looking for salon products that deal with dandruff. Maybe they have one for sensitive scalps. Natural products also helped for me. I used shampoo with Gugo or Aloe Vera and it did the trick for me. And usually, I would cut my hair to a shorter length.
