Do you like your own voice when you sing?

its true for me. when i hear my own voice without a mic or not recorded, its not that bad. and some people think so too. but when i sing with a mic or record my voice, it gets bad! so i really prefer singing without a mic and i dont attempt anymore to record my own voice. ^__^ but when we're in the videoke house and we're drinking, its okay to sing with a mic. nobody would complain anyway. LOL

Sometimes I like my voice. I really would like to take singing lessons.

Well i too am good at singing. I sing a lot of traditonal songs when we party. I do sing latest songs but am more comfortable dancing to these numbers rather than singing them. I also have a liking to say a number of religious songs which i have also taught to my daughters and we sing togeher to offer our prayers to the almighty.

if someone accicedaly stepped on my cats tail it would sound better than my singing voice !I cant cary a tune in a bucket God gave me mmany tallents but singing is not one of them!

actually i do like my own voice. i think its quite good. but in regards to why you dont like yours...everyone is their own worst critic generally...maybe thats why you dont like it??

I like to sing a lot and I actually dont mind my voice that much but sometimes I dont like my voice that much when it becomes squaky. There are some songs I can sing that I do a great job singing them and other songs where I suck at and cant sing it good because my voice is usally to high and thats when I dont care for my singing voice lol.

LOL... I feel the same way. I thought I was the only one who felt like that. I have had friends tell me that I sing good enough to go and make an album. But when I hear it on a tape it sounds horrible. I honestly feel that tapes my do something to our voice b/c when I hear myself sing I think it sounds so good. But once recorded it doesn't sound the same way I heard when I sang. LOL...
