what do you think of manson's cover of the nightmare before christmas song?

I love it. I think it rocks.
He didn't change the feel of the song, but I love the way his voice sounds.

Compared to some of the other covers on that CD, I'd say that Manson did probably the best job. I like Fiona Apple's version of "Sally's Song" also, but not quite as much as Manson doing "This is Halloween." And, sadly, even though I love She Wants Revenge, I think they really messed up "Kidnap the Sandy Claws."

I agree. He did not change the feel of the song at all, he did it perfectly. I did not like any of the other songs on it because I think no one else stayed with the real theme of it. They just sang the songs the way they would sing their own songs. Manson did that too, though, but I suppose the way he sounds is just very close to Danny Elfman's original so it fit.

i prefer the original version, may because i'm a nightmare before christmas fan, but his version is not bad..

I honestly think Marilyn Manson is turning to crap. But that's besides the point. I like the cover, in general, but it's not as Manson-esque as I would have hoped. ::shrug::
