Have you ever told God a lie?

how would you lie to god? he knows everything right?

Hi marshall_blake2000! I see what you mean. I do hae a lot of shortcomings with God. I do tell him so many times that if he gives me this chance I will do this or I ask His forgiveness and promise Him, I will never do it again. At that time, i know I can do what I have just told him or promised Him but sometimes or most of the times, there are certain situations that I get caught in and then I tend to do the other way and I guess, I have disappointed God in some ways. Yeah we should not lie to God as God know everything. But yeah, i also did those things to God, i also lied with him and i am really sorry for that. I always tell him that i will not do such things like i did before, but things really happen and even i promised not to do it again, i always did and it's really bad. yes I have told a lie before, and I don't mean any harm. It is sort of a white lie as they say. But mind you lying complicates everything, when you lie about something it does not stop there. I think the best thing to do is to close your lips :).

I don't remember I lie to God. But I can't stop lie to others sometimes. God told us not to lie. So after lying, I always feel afraid and make up excuses in prayer. I don't want to lie. But it's so hard sometimes.
