Can my friend share his paypal account with me?

You can't share officially. But why you should share a paypal account where they only need a valid e-mail ID. Try to open an account yourself. Best of Luck..

I never heard of that one. Who told you that, or are you just asking to get everyone's oppinion, as far as I know I don't think you can do that, I have been here for a year and I have never heard of it. maybe someone else can tell you different, but No. that is what I say.

As has been noted here above, you cannot OFFICIALLY share a Paypal account in the same way you cannot officially share a bank account (OK, so you can have joint accounts, but I'm pretty sure Paypal don't do joint accounts).
If you trust your friend, there is no reason why you cannot 'share' the facility that he has. You can register several email addresses to a single Paypal account (I use two addresses with mine). You can ask your friend to register your email address against his account, then people can pay into his account using your email address. If you want to share this account on a long-term basis, then you should ask for the password so that you can have full access (extra email addresses don't have separate passwords). If he says OK, then you know you can trust him, if not, then you should just open your own Paypal account.
