i have a few. first was when my two older children were very young (probably 4 and 6) we went on a picnic with some friends. they had a 12 yr old daughter and the kids were all throwing stones in a creek as we set out lunch and got the grill ready. then the 12 yr old came running up asking for help, apparently my youngest had gotten into the water and was sucked into an undercurrent. his older sister went out to save him. we all ran down to the water and the site of my children struggling to stay above water as they slipped over the rocks terrified me, i thought for sure they were going to drown, they didn't
second i was robbed at gunpoint while opening at mcdonalds. i was sooo terrified. i had the hardest time opening that safe, my fingers were numb, my whole body was shaking and all i could think was the lives of my employees and myself were at the mercy of me being able to open that dang safe!!
lastly was a car accident....a tractor trailer misjudged his lane change and tapped the rear end of my car, sending me spinning on the highway. i looked out my side window to see the grill of the tractor trailer pushing my car along before my car was let free and spinning across several lanes of traffic. i was unharmed.
i do believe i have the best guardian angel there is to be had!!
so please share your stories.

well the other day i was with my daughter and she was pulling out of my mothers, her driveway is on a blind drive, and everytime i pull out of it i pray. well we were pulling out and a car came flying around the corner and veared into our lane trying to stop. all i could do was close my eyes and pray. everything turned out ok, no accident. but that was the closest i ever came. well thats not true.
a couple months back i was driving on a major highway and a truck carrying sheets of metal was way in front of me, the metal sheets came flying out of his truck through the air (it was freaky) and thank God the metal sheets flew into the front of my car or it would have come through the window and killed me and my mom.
Like you, I have a great guiding spirit and guardian angel. : )

I must say I got chills just reading your stories! I don't have much except for last Friday night I got into my first (and I hope last) car accident with two of my boys in the car. My husband was following behind me and I know he was scared just watching and not being able to do anything, but yell out to God. I was tee boned on the passenger side of our van with my older son sitting in front and my younger son sitting right behind me. Thank God none of us were injured!!

your experiences are so scary! and still you're saved, God watches over you. :)
mine, i think the most frightening was when my father had cardiac arrest in 2001 and was confined in the ICU. he was lifeless for 30 minutes and was revived but he was in comatose. the doctor said he was 50/50. it was so sad, i was afraid to lose my father, actually, i'm afraid of losing the people i love.

oooh i know how sad it is, i lost my mom a couple of years ago to a long terminal illness. i remember kneeling on the hospital floor laying my head on her as she laid there and saying good bye.
nope she didn't pass at that time but she and i were both at peace with the inevitable.

My first frightening experience was waking up because I fell asleep at the wheel. Interesting enough, I felt a tap on my shoulder and that is what woke me up, right as I was going off the shoulder into the barrow pit. I had my one year old son in the car with me. 3 years before I had miscarried, and I think that was my little angel that saved us.
The second grightening experience was my last pregnancy. At 5 months, I started going into premature labor and got toxemia at the same time. At the time that I had my C-section, I was so swollen with water that it had put so much pressure on my lungs that I couldn't breathe, and my blood pressure had gone up so much. When they did the C-section it was considered an emergency because I had so many toxins running through my blood. Due to the lack of oxygen, high blood pressure and all the toxins, they gave me a 50-50 chance of making it through surgery, yet I didn't have a choice. i delivered 2 babies that in total weighed 7 lb 6 oz. They both came home after a month stay in the Neonatal intensive care unit. And half a million dollars in hospital bills.....I think getting those bills would be the third frightening experience...

reading about your shoulder tap sent shivers thru me. i never did try to figure out who my guardian angel is, i know it's someone who cares very much for me.
in my second pregnancy i was close to toxemia, that is nothing to be played with...really stinks having to go into surgery knowing your body isn't really ready to handle it, how are your babies now??? how long ago was that??

I have to say the most frightening experience for me was when I was first learning to drive. The day after I got my learner's permit, my dad took me to learn how to drive.
I remember everything so clearly. He had asked me to make right turn. I begin to turn and the sun got in my eyes and I started to panic because there was a car coming and for some reason I thought the car was headed straight for me so I jerked the wheel. This made my dad panic so he tried to jerk the wheel back. The truck ended up flipping several times down a hill and finally land on the driver's side against a tree. My first reaction was make sure my dad was ok because I couldn't stand the thought of losing him.
It turns out we were both just fine. We didn't even have one single bruise or scratch. I know we had a guardian angel watching over us that day because normally I didn't wear my seat belt because of an accident when I was in the second grade. An accident that would have killed my dad if he would have been wearing a seat belt. Something told us to put those seat belts on that day and I am so thankful because we could have been thrown from the truck. Needless to say, I ALWAYS wear my seat belt now.
It took me almost a year before I would even get behind the wheel again but eventually I did and my dad did a wonderful job teaching me how.

When I first learnt to swim some friend made a practical joke to me and took away my life belt and I nearly drawn in the water. That is the most scary memory in my life!
