Hi!
These days BBC is airing a documentary titled The Story of India, in wake of India completing 60 years of freedom. It is a really fabulous documentary showing the glorious past of India. Its a 6 part series of which part 4 was aired just yesterday.
The documentary is well researched and made quiet exciting. Its also well presented by the author Micheal woods, who also has written a book on The Story of India. He seems to be amazed and excited by the glory of ancient India. Has anyone of you read his book or is watch this series?
What you think about it? Do you like it?
Why?

This will be something to look out for, I know many people travel to India these days but still it reamins a bit of a mystery to those who have not been so to see a film on it would be good, I like to see the different cultures and see how other people share this world...I will definitely look out for it, thank you for telling us about it..

Ya plz do have a look as it not only glorifies the Indian past but also takes an insight into Indian cultures and traditions. It reveals the multifaceted life style of India and shows how people of different religions and ethnicity have come to live together and thrive in India. It starts way back 5000 years ago!!
